New website to track daily CO2 levels as planet hits 400 ppm

As atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide approach hit the milestone of 400 parts per million (ppm), a scientist at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in the United States has launched a website [a href="http://keelingcurve.ucsd.edu/"]http://keelingcurve.ucsd.edu/[/a] that will publish daily readings of CO2 concentrations, an online resource he hopes will drive home the urgent threat of rising greenhouse gas emissions.

The award will identify projects, initiatives and campaigns that contribute to European sustainability through supporting paper recycling.

The conference was attended by over 700 experts, policy makers and practitioners from across the world, and covered issues ranging from strategies for Europe’s coasts, mountains and cities, to the influence of climate change on the energy sector.
