The 2020 Group is calling on Scottish organisations to lead by example by signing up to the pledge, which consists of four projects that cover electric vehicles, virtual meeting technology, public transport and fuel efficient driving.

The conference was attended by over 700 experts, policy makers and practitioners from across the world, and covered issues ranging from strategies for Europe’s coasts, mountains and cities, to the influence of climate change on the energy sector.

This formed part of the Committee’s evidence gathering on the Scottish Government’s draft second Report on Proposals and Policies (RPP2) and its effectiveness in meeting the emissions reduction targets.
